Mercurial Tones is Sweden's rising electronic music academy, sample/preset company and music label. We've been actively working to make informative and top grade electronic music tutorials on Youtube and creating a producer community past 4 years.

The opportunity

This role will help Mercurial Tones to build a healthier and more informed house and techno producers community through helping the post-production workflow of visually compelling video assets.

 

As our Video Editor you will:

​

• Edit current video assests into right format for YouTube and other social media platforms

• Delivery of high-quality videos and assets to tight deadlines

• Contribute to the ideas and planning of productions

• Creation of compelling multimedia assets that are relevant, engaging 

• Use image and multimedia editing software to optimise digital assets for campaigns, assets and activities

 

The person

​

To succeed as a Video Editor, you will need the following skills:

​

• Be a strong and positive team player who is enthusiastic in the community we are building and the mission we have for better producers community

• Works in a dynamic manner with a can-do attitude to share ideas and solve problems in creative ways 

• Strong understanding of video production and content generation. 

• Experience using a video and photo editing software 

• Understanding electronic music production is a requirement

The salary will be contract basis (per X videos) and will be agreed in interview stage.

Location: Flexible (Living in Stockholm is a plus)
